Fourth Street Golf-Moor
The Fourth Street Golf-Moor in Louisville represents the earliest era of the miniature golf craze in Kentucky. This course was situated on an available space between two "Main Street” type buildings. Most of Kentucky’s early courses were found in makeshift locations like this one. The 1929 Louisville City Directory suggests other locations for mini-golf, including the basement of the elegant Brown Hotel on Fourth and Broadway.
