Par Three Miniature Golf

Par Three Miniature Golf Course, Lexington. Par Three Miniature Golf Course, pictured here, is located in Lexington (Fayette County).  The course was recently relocated from a site closer to the city, due to a suburban development.  The original Par Three mini-golf course was established in 1957 as a Putt-Putt golf franchise.  The course operated on the original location until 1993.  Note the whimsical fairybook hazards, especially the toad and the lighthouse.  These types of tiny architectural elements have long-defined miniature golf courses throughout Kentucky.
