Training Sessions Offered

Education and training sessions can include, but are not limited to, topics such as:

  • historic preservation and community planning,
  • tools for local preservation,
  • consultation with KY SHPO under Section 106 and the State History Code,
  • the role of archaeology in historic preservation,
  • using federal and state historic preservation programs such as:
    • the federal and state Historic Tax Credit programs,
    • the National Register of Historic Places,
    • the Certified Local Government (CLG) program,
    • ​historic resources survey,
  • Native American, African American history in Kentucky.
